Own and oversee the end-to-end import process for overseas shipments, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant delivery.Ensure full compliance with local and international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal company policies.Lead import logistics activities including shipment planning, freight management, warehousing coordination, and final delivery.Manage all import documentation and administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Monitor import data, costs, and performance metrics to identify savings opportunities and operational efficiencies.Develop and implement process improvements, SOPs, and compliance controls.Build, lead, and supervise the import team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.Proactively manage risks, delays, and unexpected disruptions across the import cycle.Align import strategies with overall business objectives and supply chain priorities. 7-10 years of solid experience in Importation, International Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.Proven leadership experience with a strong track record in Team Building and People Management.Mandatory experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Biological Products Importation.Strong knowledge of Customs Regulations, International Trade Laws, and Compliance Frameworks.High analytical capability with experience in Cost Control and Performance Optimization.Excellent Stakeholder Management and Negotiation skills.
