Logistics Specialist

Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacityOrganize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessaryCoordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathwaysExecute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on scheduleMaintains quality throughout the logistic processesHandle all logistics activities of export and import materials, spare parts and gold shipmentsSearch and evaluate potential vendors and suppliersEstimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchasesCreate and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliersNegotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supplyExamine and review products and supplies to ensure qualityTrack incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival timeOrganize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and evaluation of suppliersEnsure all deliveries contain all goods requestedRequirementsBachelor's Degree of Business Administration, logistics or any relevant fieldStrong understanding of Logistics systems and countries regulationsProficiency in MS OfficeWorks well with deadlines,Knowledge of logistics systems,Understanding of transportation limitations and regulationsPrevious experience in Manufacturing or Construction is a mustPrevious experience in import and export companies is a plus
