The role is responsible for managing engineering and maintenance operations across an assigned group of branches, ensuring high equipment reliability, operational continuity, and compliance with safety, hygiene, and technical standards. The position oversees field technicians and supervisors, drives preventive maintenance execution, monitors utilities performance, and ensures that corporate initiatives and procedures are effectively implemented at site level. The role also serves as the primary technical point of contact for branch operations, delivering timely reporting, data, and performance updates.RESPONSIBILITIESOversee day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities across assigned branches.Ensure continuous operation of all equipment and systems with minimal unplanned downtime.Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance to achieve high asset reliabilityPrioritize and respond to operational issues affecting store continuity.Directly manage technicians and site supervisors within the assigned branches.Allocate manpower and resources to meet operational demands efficiently.Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company procedures and standards.Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel.Monitor and control utilities consumption (electricity, water, gas, etc.) across branches.Identify abnormal consumption patterns and implement corrective actions.Support initiatives aimed at improving energy efficiency and cost optimization.Ensure all safety systems, firefighting equipment, and protective measures are functional and compliant.Oversee hygiene-related engineering requirements and ensure maintenance supports operational cleanliness standards.Conduct regular checks to verify compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Enforce new engineering procedures, standards, and operational initiatives across assigned branches.Ensure teams understand and apply updated policies, tools, and workflows.Monitor implementation effectiveness and report challenges or improvement needs.Prepare and submit required technical reports, performance data, and operational updates.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and incidents.Provide timely information to management to support decision-making.Investigate recurring failures or operational issues and implement preventive solutions.Support efforts to enhance maintenance effectiveness, service quality, and operational reliability.Coordinate with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues affecting branch performance.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree of Engineering, Specialization in (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.)3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance or facility management preferably (FMCG, Hospitality malls & hotels or Food Production)Strong Knowledge of MEP Systems ((HVAC, electrical, plumbing) & Corrective & Preventive MaintenanceExperience managing technicians or maintenance teams.Strong knowledge of (Safety standards, Firefighting systems and Preventive inspections)Good command of English (spoken and written).Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
