Lead and manage the maintenance department for concentrates and IQF processing lines, including evaporators, aseptic fillers, blast freezers, spiral freezers, tunnel freezers, and cold storage systems.Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs to minimize unplanned downtime and extend asset life.Oversee industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia/NH3 and glycol-based), ensuring safe operation, regulatory compliance, and optimal energy efficiency.Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities teams, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management.Plan and control the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, contractor services, and capital equipment expenditure.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode investigations to reduce recurring breakdowns and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Coordinate maintenance schedules with production planning to minimize disruption to concentrate and IQF processing operations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Maintenance, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ammonia refrigeration safety protocols and Process Safety Management (PSM) where applicable.Maintain accurate maintenance records, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) data, and equipment history logs.Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and capital project execution within the facility.Prepare and present maintenance KPIs, downtime reports, and improvement plans to senior management. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 8–10 years of progressive maintenance experience in food processing, juice/concentrate production, or frozen food (IQF) manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.Strong working knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia/NH3), freezing technology, and thermal processing equipment.Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor relationships.Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate technical staff.Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and refrigeration systems.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, seasonal production environment.
