JOB TITLEManager - Legal | MAF Retail | Head Office EgyptROLE SUMMARYThe Manager - Legal is responsible for providing the organization with support to facilitate effective legal services, advice, and representation for all legal issues either directly or with the support of external lawyers. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the Legal team in all legal matters and providing support on advice given to the business and regulatory functions on legal issues in a timely manner while ensuring consistency of approach and style.ROLE PROFILEDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal notices, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable laws.Provide legal advice and support on business transactions, disputes, claims, liabilities, and legal obligations across the organization.Conduct legal due diligence and assess legal risks associated with commercial and operational activities.Research laws, regulations, legal precedents, and industry developments to protect business interests and ensure regulatory compliance.Support litigation management by gathering evidence, preparing case documentation, coordinating with external counsel, and assisting in legal defense strategies.Review company policies, procedures, and business practices to ensure legal accuracy and minimize organizational risk.Monitor legal issues affecting the business, report potential risks, and ensure timely resolution of legal matters.Lead and develop team members through performance management, coaching, training coordination, and succession planning initiatives.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Law.Minimum 6 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years within the retail sector.Strong knowledge of commercial law, contracts, compliance, and legal risk management.Excellent business communication, drafting, and presentation skills.Strong negotiation and analytical problem-solving capabilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
