Job ObjectiveTo supervise, coordinate, and monitor the daily operations of general services (e.g., transportation, catering, janitorial, pest control, security), manage vendor performance, initiate and follow up on procurement requests, and contribute to the development of operational SOPs and policies. This role is specifically designed to bridge the gap between day-to-day business operations and financial management, ensuring operational efficiency aligns with financial goals.Key responsibilityMonitoring and controlling budgets: Tracking operational spending and analyzing variances against the established budget.Cost analysis and optimization: Identifying inefficiencies and implementing cost control measures to improve profitability.Performance reporting: Generating reports and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for both operations and finance to support decision-making.Ensuring compliance: Verifying that operational and financial processes adhere to internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.Strategic input: Collaborating with department heads (e.g., project managers, logistics teams) to provide financial insights that supports operational strategy implementation and planning.SOP & Policy Support : Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing SOPs and internal policies related to general services.Ensure that operations comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirementsPropose process improvements and support training for new policies/SOPs.Communication & Coordination: Serve as the coordination point between general services teams, vendors, procurement, and finance.Ensure timely communication of issues, approvals, and updates to relevant stakeholders.Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records of operations and assessments.Academic Experience RequiredBachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.Professional Experience Required3–5 years in facility operations or general services coordination, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and service/vendor evaluation tools.Computing SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Process-oriented with documentation and SOP development experience.Personal SkillsStrong operational follow-up and multitasking skills.Knowledge of facility service standards and contract management.Data-driven with strong analytical skills for KPI tracking.LanguagesArabic – English.
