About the roleStrategic Gears is looking for a Market Research Manager to join the team in Cairo. You will own the research function end-to-end — setting methodology standards, leading primary data collection, and translating findings into actionable insights that drive client strategy. Beyond hands-on research, you will lead and develop a team of researchers, oversee fieldwork quality, and act as a senior point of contact for clients on research scope and deliverables.What you will doLead the design of research methodologies, questionnaires, and discussion guides aligned to client objectivesOwn primary data collection and oversee fieldwork execution to ensure data quality and on-time deliveryManage, mentor, and develop a team of research associates, allocating workload across projectsTrack market trends, developments, and competitive activity to shape research direction and insightsDirect qualitative and quantitative analysis, ensuring accuracy and analytical rigor across deliverablesTranslate findings into clear reports, market assessments, and presentations for senior stakeholdersPartner with consulting teams and clients to scope research needs and integrate findings into broader strategiesSet and uphold research standards, tools, and best practices across the function what you will bring Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's a plus8–10 years in market research, business consulting, or data analysis, preferably in a consulting environmentProven experience managing research teams, multiple projects, timelines, and deliverablesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets into actionable recommendationsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholdersProficiency with market research tools/databases (e.g., Gartner, Statista), Excel, and data visualization toolsHigh attention to detail and a track record of accurate, comprehensive reportingFluent in both English and Arabic
