Verifies the quantity and quality of material received and receive into Radius.Stacks or assembles materials on pallets.Place incoming materials in storage racks.Pull materials from storage and deliver to production departments as needed.Return unused film to inventory.Complete all required paperwork.Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.Adhere to the GMP Policy.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education And/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.3 to 12 months of related experience in manufacturing or forklift operation preferred.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to write and computer generate various reports and business correspondence as requested. Ability to speak clearly using a telephone and effectively present information and respond to questions from visitors, customers, and vendors. Must be able to communicate effectively and fluently and possess a courteous, friendly, and professional speaking manner.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsRequires the ability to obtain a forklift operator's license.Other Skills And AbilitiesRequires the ability to operate various equipment including a forklift, hand trucks, banding tools, shrink wrap machine, battery charger, and a variety of office machines such as copier, FAX, and calculator.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, reach above shoulders, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and use foot/feet to operate machine.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
