Position: Maths Expert

Role Responsibilities
- Design and solve challenging Maths problems to evaluate large language models
- Create clear, step-by-step mathematical solutions with detailed reasoning
- Collaborate with LLM researchers on evaluation benchmarks and reasoning tasks
- Help define new evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD-level Mathematics
- Analyze and solve complex mathematical problems with a logical and structured approach
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and examples
Requirements
- Candidates with a Master s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in at least three of the following tools:
- Magma, Macaulay2, Singular, GAP, SageMath, Polymake, 4ti2, LattE, DIPHA, PHAT, AUTO-07P, XPPAUT, Perseus, Stan, PyMC, OR-Tools, Z3, PARI/GP, fpLLL
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Creative and lateral thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
