Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Office Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design, piping layout, and 3D modeling for industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering deliverables, developing piping layouts, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting design optimization through engineering analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed mechanical and piping engineering drawings, layouts, and fabrication documents.Develop accurate 3D models using SolidWorks and/or equivalent CAD software.Perform piping routing and plant layout using AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent piping design software.Generate isometric drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, spool drawings, and fabrication details.Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and process engineering disciplines.Review project specifications, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and vendor drawings.Support engineering calculations and design verification.Participate in design reviews and value engineering activities.Assist in preparing technical proposals, material take-offs (MTO), and bill of materials (BOM).Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and engineering standards.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–7 years of experience in a Technical Office or Mechanical Design role.Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems and plant engineering.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Good command of written and spoken English.Technical Skills MandatorySolidWorksAutoCAD Plant 3D (or equivalent piping design software)AutoCADMicrosoft OfficePreferredPipe Stress Analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II)CFD software (ANSYS Fluent, SolidWorks Flow Simulation, or equivalent)FEA software (ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent)NavisworksRevit MEP (preferred)BIM coordination toolsKnowledge RequirementsIndustrial piping systemsPipe routing and layout optimizationPressure vessels and storage tanksSteel structures and equipment supportsMechanical fabrication drawingsP&IDs and engineering documentationMaterial selection and engineering standardsEngineering codes such as ASME, API, and ASTMPreferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in one or more of the following industries will be preferred:Oil & GasPetrochemicalWater and Wastewater Treatment PlantsPower PlantsFood & BeverageIndustrial ManufacturingAPI 650 Storage TanksEPC Projects
