Our expertise covers layout design, process design, project management, MEP design and full project support from concept to commissioning.Role Description Mechanical MEP Design Engineer – Job Description Design and develop mechanical MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) for food manufacturing facilities in line with international standards. Prepare detailed layouts, calculations, and technical drawings ensuring efficient integration with production requirements. Coordinate with process, architectural, and electrical teams to optimize plant layout and utility distribution. Review shop drawings and material submittals, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project requirements. Support site activities, including technical clarifications, contractor coordination, and supervision when required. Participate in project management activities including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and ensuring timely project delivery. Follow up with contractors and suppliers to ensure proper execution in line with design and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.2–5 years of experience in MEP design, preferably in industrial or food manufacturing projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems design and calculations. Experience in preparing detailed design drawings, layouts, and BOQs. Good understanding of international standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.). Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD (Revit is a plus). Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and integrate MEP with process requirements. Basic project management skills with the ability to follow up on timelines and deliverables. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
