Maintenance & Continuous ImprovementConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.Optimize maintenance procedures to enhance the mechanical performance and reliability of assets.Support plant expansion projects and the installation/commissioning of new machinery.4. Quality & SafetyEnsure full compliance with ISO quality standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.Provide training to the team on safety protocols, especially when handling heavy rotating machinery and high-pressure mechanical systems.Supervise the consistent application of safe operating procedures (SOPs).5. Reporting & CoordinationPrepare periodic reports on equipment downtime, breakdown analysis, and team performance metrics (KPIs).Coordinate effectively with Electrical, Production, and Quality Control departments to ensure seamless operational continuity.Provide strategic recommendations to senior management to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. . Education & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.Experience: A minimum of 10–15 years of experience in industrial maintenance.Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing teams of engineers and technical staff in a large-scale production environment.2. Technical CompetenciesSpecialized Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of glass manufacturing equipment, particularly:Glass melting furnaces and combustion systems.Forming machinery (IS machines, Press & Blow, etc.).Annealing lehrs and conveyor systems.Mechanical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, and power transmission (gears, bearings, shafts).Maintenance Systems: Proficiency in implementing and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Predictive Tools: Experience with condition monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasound).Software & Planning: Solid proficiency in AutoCAD and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) for inventory and work order management.3.
