Mechanical Section Head

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, direct, and monitor all site mechanical activities (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, etc.).Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical modifications to ensure compliance and avoid rework.Plan and manage material take-offs, procurement requests, delivery schedules, and inventory control.Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and manpower allocation to ensure smooth workflow.Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, architectural) to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.Ensure effective utilization of tools, equipment, and resources within budget.Support the Construction Manager in progress tracking, reporting, and resolving technical challenges.Participate in coordination and progress meetings, providing insights and solutions.Ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.8-10 years of experience in construction projects.Previous experience in a Section Head role is a strong plus.Solid experience in site mechanical works (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing).Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
