Mechanical Site Engineer

1. Site Supervision & Execution Oversee daily mechanical work activities on site (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, gas networks, pump rooms). Ensure all installations follow approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.Coordinate work between contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, architecture). Inspect installations and ensure proper execution before closing up works (MEP inspections).2. Technical & Engineering Duties Review mechanical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Verify quantities and ensure correct materials are delivered and used on site. Conduct heat load calculations (for HVAC) and ensure correct selection of equipment. Support testing & commissioning of all mechanical systems.3. Coordination & Communication Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders (consultants, contractors, clients). Follow up on MEP progress versus schedule. Coordinate with procurement for materials, suppliers, and equipment delivery.4. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports. Document inspections, tests, and commissioning reports. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and O&M manuals. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3–7 years of experience in site works, preferably in real estate or construction projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, and mechanical services. Familiarity with mechanical codes and standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
