Job PurposeTo Maintain records throughout the bidding process to ensure traceability in addition to reviewing Tender Documents which include Design Documents, Drawings, Specifications, Data Sheets, Calculations etc. and clearly define the scope of Project.Key Accountabilities And Decision OwnershipStudy the tender documents (specifications, drawing, BOQ, method of measurements and contracts)Conduct site visits to investigate the environment surrounding the project if needed.Coordinate with other departments to determine the cost of common items.Follow up the preparation of the request of quotation to be sent to the suppliers to get pricing offers.Review the comparison sheet and select the best vendor based on clients’ requirements and project’s specs.Finalize the cost break down and send it to the line manager to be reviewed.Review the Technical and Commercial Submittal with the document control before sending it to the client.Core Competencies LevelAccountabilityWorking under pressureDelivering on ResultMust Have Technical / Professional Qualifications (Knowledge & Skills)Previous experience not less than 3 years.Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering.Excellent Command of English language.AutoCAD, RevitNegotiation and Communication skills.Key Performance IndicatorsProvide the Tender Engineers with support to resolve any complex issues and improve their performance not less than 95%.Following up on submitted tenders not less than 95%.Accuracy in studying documentations not less than 90%Ensure the compliance of the offer with all project requirements as mentioned in the RFQ & reach the optimum price with the required specifications.Work ConditionsIn-doors:80%Out-doors: 20%Work Hazards: NormalWorking Days: 5 Working DaysDays Off: 2 Days OffWorking Hours: 8 hoursCommunicationInternally with: Technical Office Dept., Tendering & ContractingExternal with: Project Consultant, Owners
