Engineering Design & Coordination:Review and approve HVAC shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications, international standards (ASHRAE/SMACNA), and local building codes.Lead the coordination of MEP services to ensure zero-clash integration between HVAC layouts, electrical conduits, and plumbing systems.VRF System Expertise:Perform precise cooling/heating load calculations and pipe sizing for VRF systems using manufacturer software .Review refrigerant piping diagrams and control schematics specific to VRF installations.Technical Submittals & Documentation:Prepare and manage Material Submittals (MS) and Method Statements (MOS) for HVAC equipment.Maintain an organized technical submittal log and follow up on approvals with consultants and clients.Prepare Request for Information (RFI) documents to resolve design discrepancies on-site.Quantity Surveying & Procurement:Perform accurate take-offs for HVAC materials, including VRF copper piping, insulation, ducts, and air terminals.Prepare comparative technical schedules for procurement to ensure equipment matches design intent and budget.Site Support & Quality Control:Provide technical support to the site engineering team to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure compliance with approved shop drawings.Inspect HVAC/VRF installations to ensure quality standards are met prior to final testing and commissioning.Required QualificationsEducation: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: [3-5]+ years of experience in MEP contracting, specifically within the HVAC sector and MEP works.Software Proficiency: * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit (MEP).Strong knowledge of HVAC design software (HAP) and specific VRF selection tools.
