Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Technical Office Manager to lead and oversee our technical office team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all MEP-related engineering activities, including shop drawings, material submittals, quantity surveying, and value engineering. You will act as the core bridge between the design engineering teams, procurement, and site execution to ensure projects are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MEP coordination engineers, BIM modelers, and quantity surveyors.Technical Reviews & Coordination: Oversee the review of MEP design drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify discrepancies, clashes, or constructability issues.BIM & Shop Drawings: Supervise the generation, coordination, and submission of MEP shop drawings, combined coordination drawings, and builder's work layouts. Ensure seamless integration using BIM/Revit workflows.Material Submittals: Direct the preparation and processing of MEP material submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, vendor capabilities, and local authority regulations.Quantity Surveying & Variation Orders: Oversee the quantification of MEP works for budgeting, procurement, and monthly progress invoicing. Identify, evaluate, and prepare variation orders and claims.Value Engineering: Propose and implement cost-effective engineering solutions and alternatives without compromising quality, safety, or design intent.Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and site construction managers to resolve technical queries (RFIs) swiftly.Authority Approvals: Manage the technical documentation required for local civil defense, utility providers, and municipal approvals. Qualifications & Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role within a Technical Office environment.Project Profile: Proven track record of successfully managing technical packages for large-scale, complex projects (e.g., high-rise buildings, commercial hubs, residential compounds, or industrial plants).
