Role DescriptionAs a Merchant Acquisition Specialist, you will play an essential role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding new merchants onto Moru's platform. Your daily responsibilities will include actively seeking out and establishing relationships with potential business partners, conducting market research to identify potential leads, and delivering presentations about Moru's value proposition to prospective merchants. You will also assist with contract negotiations, support merchants throughout the onboarding process, and provide ongoing assistance to ensure they succeed. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for partial remote work. QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills to identify potential merchants and evaluate market opportunities.Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication skills to build and maintain relationships with merchants and stakeholders.Proficiency in negotiation and persuasion to onboard merchants effectively.Proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.Prior experience with marketplace platforms or B2B engagement is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field preferred.
