Mining Engineer – Drilling & Exploration

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mining Engineer with solid experience in site drilling and mineral exploration to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both conventional and core drilling operations, along with a strong technical understanding of drilling tools and field execution.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Career growth opportunities.Exposure to major mining and exploration projects.Dynamic and professional work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise, and execute drilling and exploration programs (core & conventional drilling).Coordinate with site teams to ensure efficient and safe drilling operations.Select and optimize drilling methods, tools, and equipment based on project requirements.Monitor drilling performance, penetration rates, and recovery to ensure productivity targets are met.Analyze geological data, core samples, and drilling logs to support exploration decisions.Ensure proper maintenance and usage of drilling tools and rigs.Manage contractors and drilling crews on-site.Prepare technical reports, daily progress logs, and performance evaluations.Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies.Support business development and client communication when needed. Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3:5 years of experience in drilling and exploration operations.Strong experience in:Core drilling & conventional drilling techniques.Drilling tools, rigs, and downhole equipment.Good knowledge of site operations and field problem-solving.Ability to read and interpret geological and drilling data.Experience working on mining or quarry sites is highly preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills.Willingness to work in remote site locations when required.Preferred SkillsExperience with international drilling standards and practices.Background in drilling optimization and cost control.Familiarity with reporting software and technical documentation.
