Established in 2011, CEQUENS offers a comprehensive suite of APIs, including SMS, WhatsApp for Business, Voice, Push Notifications, and more, enabling seamless and personalized interactions across multiple channels.Our partner network covers MEA region with international access to messaging hubs worldwide and our clients include major banks, credit cards, digital payments, OTT applications, government authorities, health and education, and other industry verticals.If you have the passion for success and are ready to constantly challenge yourself within a collaborative team-environment join our teamThe Number Portability Specialist is responsible for the commercial, operational, and analytical management of Number Portability and Number Intelligence services, including MNP, HLR, and related mobile identity lookups.The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, availability, and monetization of portability data while maintaining strong relationships with clients, portability database providers, and signaling partners.This position requires deep understanding of number portability ecosystems, signaling flows, regulatory frameworks, and commercial models, combined with strong analytical and negotiation skills.Main Areas of ResponsibilityNumber Portability Traffic Analysis & OptimizationAnalyze MNP and HLR query traffic and operators to identify trends and growth opportunitiesMonitor query accuracy, latency, success rates, and availability to ensure SLA compliance and service reliabilityDetect and mitigate data inconsistencies, routing inefficiencies, abuse, and revenue leakage related to portability lookupsOptimize query routing and vendor selection to balance cost efficiency, coverage, and performanceCarrier & Database Provider RelationsManage relationships with MNOs, portability database operators and signaling providersNegotiate commercial terms, pricing models, data access agreements, and capacity commitments for MNP and HLR servicesCoordinate onboarding and certification of new portability databases and operator connectionsRevenue Strategy & Business EnablementUpsell to existing Customers PortfolioOnboarding of the new Customers, providing new streams of RevenueDefine and maintain pricing strategies for number portability and lookup services by market, query type, and SLA levelIdentify other business opportunities and provide feedback about the productContribute to product packaging and go-to-market strategy for portability-based solutionsRequirementsExperience3-5+ years of experience in number portability, signaling, mobile network services, or carrier relationsHands-on exposure to MNP, HLR, NP databases, or mobile identity solutions is strongly preferredEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldSkillsStrong understanding of number portability ecosystems, signaling architecture, and mobile network operationsExperience working with MNOs, portability authorities, and global data providersExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical mindset with experience using tools and operational reportingAbility to translate technical performance into commercial outcomesStrategic, detail-oriented, and results-driven approachWillingness to travel internationally for industry eventsProficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
