The team collaborates to provide high-quality, play-based learning that respects each child’s individuality and developmental stage.Role Description The Nursery Music Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate music lessons for nursery-aged children, introducing them to basic musical concepts through songs, movement, and simple instruments. The teacher will create engaging, playful activities that support children’s sensory, social, and emotional development, and integrate music into daily routines and classroom themes. Responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, observing and documenting children’s progress, collaborating with other educators, communicating with families about musical activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive classroom environment. The Nursery Music Teacher will also participate in school events and contribute to the overall learning atmosphere of HEI Schools.QualificationsStrong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge relevant to early childhood education.Demonstrated Music Performance skills, with the ability to engage young children through singing and simple instrument play.Background in Music Education, with experience designing developmentally appropriate music activities for preschool or nursery-aged children.Proficiency in Piano or another melodic instrument suitable for leading group music sessions.Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting, preferably in an international or preschool environment.Ability to create inclusive, child-centered learning experiences that support active participation and independence.Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.Relevant degree or certification in Music, Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is highly beneficial.Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
