Nursery Teacher

This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, located in Heliopolis. The EYFS Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS curriculum to foster the development and learning of young children. Responsibilities include creating a nurturing classroom environment, preparing and assessing activities, observing and documenting children's progress, and maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers. Collaboration with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience is also an essential component of the role.QualificationsProficiency in child development principles, early years education frameworks such as EYFS, and lesson planningExcellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for building trust with children, parents, and colleaguesExperience in applying creative approaches to teaching, including using storytelling, art, play-based learning, and technologyStrong organizational skills, attention to detail with assessment documentation, and the ability to multi-task effectively within a busy classroom environmentRelevant teaching certifications in early childhood education or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferredExperience working in an early years educational setting is highly desirablePassion for early years teaching, with a nurturing and patient approach to working with childrenFluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
