OverviewTo consistently deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations while ensuring full compliance with company standards.ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage the receipt process of raw materials and packaging across October plant and external cold stores, ensuring compliance with sampling procedures, inspection standards, RMV4 requirements, and GDP guidelines.Develop and strengthen the capabilities of the contingent workforce by delivering regular, structured training programs.Prepare and submit daily reports covering raw material receipts and rejection cases with accurate documentation.Ensure timely and accurate completion of all SAP transactions related to raw materials.Conduct and document chemical and physical laboratory tests for work-in-progress and finished products, following approved methods and work instructions.Ensure all laboratory tests are performed accurately, within required timelines, and results are properly recorded and reported in line with standard methodologies.Identify and report any non-conformance to specifications to the laboratory leader, quality teams, and production teams, while documenting corrective actions taken.Perform and document internal calibration checks of laboratory equipment and instruments according to defined schedules.Participate in investigations related to product deviations, quality issues, and customer complaints.Maintain all reagents, tools, and instruments in good condition, promptly reporting any abnormalities or maintenance needs.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment such as titrators, pipetting systems, and pH meters.Support departmental activities by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.Implement and monitor hold and release procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.Ensure full compliance with PepsiCo Global EHS Management System (GEHSMS) standards.Escalate operational or quality issues to laboratory supervisors, providing input and recommendations when required.Follow and enforce all safety procedures and conduct routine safety checks within the laboratory environment.Perform drinking water and wastewater analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).Perform food safety audits to ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable food safety systems.Ensure full compliance with all requirements for the preparation of GCS samples for raw materials, maintaining accuracy, traceability, and adherence to established protocols.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quality, Chemistry, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related scientific field.1–2 years of experience in the FMCG industry is preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Solid knowledge of GMP, GLP, and food safety standards.Good understanding of quality systems and process operations.Core CompetenciesEducational background in Food Technology, Agriculture, or a related scientific discipline.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical thinking with problem-solving capabilities.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong customer focus (internal and external stakeholders).Good command of the English language.Technical knowledge of quality standards and product specifications.Understanding of manufacturing and quality control processes.Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards of work.
