Job SummaryThe Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing daily logistics operations to ensure efficient movement of goods across the supply chain. The role ensures materials and products are delivered on time, in full, and at optimal cost, while complying with company standards and government regulations in Egypt.⸻Key Responsibilities • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including land, sea, and air freight. • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams. • Track and monitor shipment status to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays. • Prepare and verify shipping documents including packing lists, invoices, and customs declarations. • Handle customs clearance processes in line with Egyptian regulations. • Optimize transport routes, freight rates, and carrier performance. • Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations. • Analyze logistics data and provide regular reports on costs, delivery performance, and service levels. • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and trade laws. • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.⸻Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. • 1–3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain (FMCG/Manufacturing preferred). • Understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms), customs rules, and trade documentation. • Strong communication and negotiation skills with transport providers. • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is a plus. • Problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
