Job Title: Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end operational activities across waste management projects. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, quality compliance, stakeholder coordination, and achievement of collection and recycling targets while maintaining strong relationships with brand owners, recyclers, traders, and governmental entities.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project ManagementManage and oversee projects, ensuring full compliance with client requirements and achievement of agreed targetsLead Dawar platform projects, designing and implementing operational modules to support efficient executionPlan and manage operations, ensuring all operational aspects are fully coveredExecute and lead ad-hoc operational tasks efficiently to support business needs and expansion plansContinuously enhance operational capacity to onboard additional quantities and support growthQuality, Efficiency & ComplianceEnsure consistent quality and efficiency standards across all projects and operational teamsConduct regular on-ground audits, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actionsEnsure all teams adhere to defined quality standards, SLAs, and operational guidelines, particularly within the Dawar applicationGuarantee the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of system data across all projectsStakeholder & Client ManagementTrack the project's objectives and regularly report progress to the department head, working proactively to achieve and exceed targetsProvide regular updates to the department head on achievements related to all projects operational milestonesLead customer service operations to ensure high customer satisfaction levelsPartner & Ecosystem ManagementOnboard new recyclers and traders, ensuring smooth integration, operational readiness, and ongoing supportManage trader relationships, resolve operational issues, and ensure full onboarding and complianceLead and manage social enhancement programs, ensuring proper execution, documentation, and impact trackingTeam Leadership & CoordinationEnsure all operational teams meet defined quality and performance standardsCoordinate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve pending tasks and ensure timely project completionEnsure operational incentives are processed and transferred on time according to agreed schedulesLead, manage, and develop Team Leaders and operational teams, ensuring clear role ownership, accountability, and performance alignmentSet, monitor, and evaluate KPIs for Team Leaders and teams, ensuring targets are achieved in line with company and client objectivesConduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across all operational levelsEnsure effective workforce planning, task allocation, and performance tracking to maximize productivity and efficiencyFoster a performance-driven culture focused on quality, compliance, safety, and results deliveryData Analysis & OptimizationAnalyze Dawar user and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement and expansionDevelop and implement data-driven operational plans to improve performance and scalabilityRequirementsQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of proven experience as an operation managerStrong background in operations management, preferably in waste management, recycling, or sustainability-driven projects. "NOT A MUST"Strong knowledge of traceability systems, compliance, and quality management frameworksExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into operational actionsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
