We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Database Developer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, to support and enhance enterprise ERP systems, particularly within HR and Finance domains. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with deep technical knowledge, capable of handling complex business logic, large datasets, and performance-critical operations in a production environment.Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers supporting ERP modules (HR, Payroll, Finance, etc.)Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable database solutions aligned with ERP processesImplement and maintain business rules, validations, and workflows at the database levelOptimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for high-performance transactional systemsAnalyze and resolve performance bottlenecks using execution plans, indexing strategies, and advanced tuning techniquesHandle complex data processing scenarios (bulk operations, validations, financial calculations, accruals, balances, etc.)Develop and support integrations with external systems (APIs, web services, middleware)Ensure data integrity and consistency across related ERP modules and transactionsSupport and troubleshoot production issues, including data inconsistencies and system performance problemsWork closely with functional teams (HR/Finance) to understand business needs and provide technical solutionsMaintain database standards, naming conventions, and code quality across the systemPrepare and maintain technical documentation for database logic and processes Minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle database developmentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExpert-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL (complex joins, analytical functions, bulk processing, packages)Strong experience in building and maintaining ERP systems (preferably HR and/or Finance modules)Deep understanding of transactional systems and data consistency conceptsProven expertise in performance tuning (SQL Trace, execution plans, indexing)Experience handling large-scale data operations and high-volume transactionsStrong knowledge of database design, normalization, and relational modelingExperience implementing complex validations and business rules at database levelFamiliarity with integration techniques (REST/SOAP APIs, ORDS, or similar)Experience with tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, or equivalentStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills in production environmentsAbility to work independently and handle critical tasks under pressureOracle Database / PL/SQL certifications are an advantageExperience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, or Oracle Reports is preferred Knowledge of financial systems concepts (GL, payroll, accruals, balances, cost centers, etc.) is preferredExperience with data migration and data masking techniques is preferredFamiliarity with version control systems (Git or similar) is preferredExposure to Agile/Scrum environments is preferred
