An Outdoor Electric Sales Engineer is a field-based (70% field,30% office) technical professional responsible for driving revenue by selling electrical products, systems, or services related to UPS, Stabilizers and solar system inverters through direct client interaction. This role bridges the gap between technical engineering and commercial sales, requiring frequent travel (as per the job needed) to visit construction sites, consultants, and contractors to provide on-site technical solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation: Actively search for new clients and projects, such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing or solar installations, and convert them into sales opportunities as per the assigned sector or territory. Technical Presentations & Demos: Conduct on-site demonstrations and presentations to explain how company electrical products meet specific client needs.Site Inspections & Surveys: Visit project locations to perform technical surveys, assess project feasibility, and gather data for accurate proposal development.Proposal & Quotation Preparation: Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to prepare detailed commercial and technical offers.Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering consultants, contractors, and end-users (as external) & tendering, sales operation and maintenance departments (as internal).Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales KPIs and revenue targets within a defined time frames (weekly, monthly, yearly).Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and technical specifications to finalize sales agreements. Follow up on sales orders: Follow with clients on sales orders and ensure delivery and customer satisfaction after sales.Activity Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly reports as per the activities assigned and the results achieved, meanwhile with the weekly, monthly & quarterly plans to his/her direct manager. Typical Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.Experience: 3-5 years in selling electrical products.Technical Knowledge: knowledge of operations and components of company products such as UPS and Stabilizers.Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills are essential for convincing technical experts.Mobility: A valid driving license andpersonal vehicle are an asset.
