Packaging Procurement ExecutiveLocation: Cairo, Egypt Experience: 3 to 5 years Level: Mid-level Function: Procurement / Packaging ProcurementRole OverviewWe are looking for a Packaging Procurement Support Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience in packaging procurement, sourcing support, supplier coordination, and cost evaluation.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of packaging formats, conversion technologies, packaging materials, and associated cost drivers. This role will support end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing and supplier evaluation to negotiation, contract readiness, and delivery coordination. The candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused procurement execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end packaging procurement activities from sourcing to delivery.Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with packaging suppliers based on cost, quality, capability, and delivery timelines.Support supplier negotiations to ensure cost-effective pricing, favorable terms, and quality assurance.Work with suppliers to gather quotations, technical inputs, commercial terms, and delivery commitments.Review packaging formats, materials, conversion technologies, and associated cost structures to support sourcing decisions.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand packaging requirements, timelines, and procurement priorities.Ensure contracts, pricing terms, supplier agreements, and commercial conditions are favorable and execution-ready.Track supplier responses, procurement timelines, approvals, and delivery status.Support cost comparisons, supplier benchmarking, and procurement documentation.Help resolve supplier-related issues related to pricing, timelines, quality, or documentation.Required Skills and Experience3 to 5 years of experience in packaging procurement, packaging sourcing, or procurement support.Strong understanding of packaging formats, materials, conversion technologies, and cost drivers.Experience in supplier identification, evaluation, coordination, and negotiation.Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders for timely procurement execution.Strong commercial understanding and negotiation support skills.Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail, follow-up skills, and ability to manage timelines.Preferred BackgroundExperience in FMCG, food, personal care, pharma, packaging manufacturing, or packaging supplier industries will be preferred.Exposure to flexible packaging, rigid packaging, cartons, labels, closures, corrugates, films, laminates, or other packaging categories will be an added advantage.Experience working with local suppliers and cross-functional teams will be preferred.
