Purpose of the RoleThe Partnerships & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the strategic partnerships portfolio and overseeing regulatory and legal compliance, ensuring the following:Building a robust and well-structured partnerships network.Ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements and applies international compliance standards to strengthen trust and safeguard operations.Maximizing sales performance.Protecting the company legally and mitigating risks (money laundering, theft, breach of trust, fire, etc.).Continuously improving customer service quality and enhancing the overall customer experience.Coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing to deliver a unified and consistent customer experience across all channels.Monitoring the impact of partnerships (banks, installment providers, electronic payment companies, insurance firms, etc.) on the overall customer experience, and intervening to address any weaknesses identified through these partnerships.Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Commercial Partnerships ManagementIdentifying and evaluating potential partners across the gold, fintech, and distribution sectors.Leading partnership negotiations and drafting Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and commercial agreements.Monitoring the implementation of partnership agreements and measuring performance against agreed KPIs.Developing strategic relationships with key suppliers and service providers.Managing relationships with banks and technology partners.Representing the company in commercial negotiations, conferences, and industry events.2. KYC & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) ProceduresOverseeing customer identity verification (KYC) procedures.Coordinating with the KYC service provider to ensure efficient and compliant documentation processes.Developing and overseeing the implementation of the AML framework in line with international requirements.Reviewing and reporting suspicious financial transactions in accordance with approved procedures.Training the team on compliance policies and AML requirements.Maintaining compliance records and documentation required for internal and external audits.3. Vendor Contract ManagementDrafting and reviewing vendor and service provider contracts in coordination with legal counsel.Managing the full contract lifecycle: negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.Conducting periodic vendor performance evaluations to ensure adherence to contractual terms.Handling contractual disputes in a professional manner that protects the company's interests.4. License Monitoring & RenewalMaintaining a database and timeline of all required licenses (factories, warehouses, branches, gold trading activity, etc.).Tracking renewal deadlines and coordinating with relevant authorities to prepare required documentation.5. Real Estate for Commercial, Administrative & Industrial UseResearching suitable properties for commercial, administrative, and industrial use.Comparing available offers and presenting recommendations to senior management.Negotiating lease and purchase agreements in coordination with Finance and Legal departments.6. Partnerships DevelopmentContinuously identifying new partners across banking, fintech, installment financing, insurance, and digital solutions.Designing joint programs (discounts, cashback, loyalty programs, co-branded campaigns).Preparing periodic reports for management on partnership performance and return on investment. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: banking, consumer finance, electronic payments, installment financing, insurance, or partnerships management.Sound knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering laws and Financial Regulatory Authority requirements.Prior experience in the gold sector, retail, or financial services is preferred.Proven hands-on experience with AML/KYC requirements.Documented track record in negotiation and contract management.Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing the gold sector and digital finance in Egypt.A professional certification in compliance or risk management (CAMS, ICA) is considered an advantage.Personal SkillsStrong negotiation skills and relationship-building capabilities.High attention to detail, particularly in contracts and agreements.Ability to analyze financial proposals and assess risks and returns.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple files simultaneously.Strong cross-functional collaboration within the organization.Professional Values & PrinciplesThe holder of this position is expected to fully embody the values of Selema Gold:Integrity and transparency in all commercial and regulatory dealings.Strict confidentiality of commercial and contractual information.Professionalism in external representation and upholding the company's reputation.Commitment to governance standards and international business ethics.
