Payment Switch & Certifications Engineer / Senior

Duties & Responsibilities: Payment Switch Configuration: 1. Configure and maintain the payment switch infrastructure, including transaction routing, switchparameters, and connectivity to payment processors and networks.Security Measures: 2. Implement and enforce security measures to protect the payment switch from unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud.3. Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other relevant security standards.Performance Monitoring:4. Continuously monitor the performance and responsiveness of the payment switch, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, outages, and performance issues.Incident Response: 5. Develop and implement incident response plans for payment switch-related incidents, includingtransaction failures, security breaches, and technical problems.6. Coordinate with relevant teams for incident resolution.Vendor Management: 7. Collaborate with payment switch vendors, service providers, and technology partners.8. Ensure vendor performance aligns with technical and service level requirements.Documentation: 9. Maintain comprehensive documentation of payment switch configurations, procedures, and incident reports.10. Establish and enforce quality standards for payment switch configurations and performance.11. Review and approve changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.User Support: 12. Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and stakeholders for payment switch-related issues and inquiries.Change Management: 13. Support change management efforts related to payment switch updates, enhancements, and technological advancements. Ensure smooth transitions for users.Testing and Quality Assurance: 14. Conduct testing of new configurations, features, and updates to ensure they function correctly and do not introduce issues into the production environment.Backup and Recovery: 15. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data and system availability in case of emergencies.16. Ensure correct adoption of policies and procedures to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business isconducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal rules and regulations, as well as, InternationalStandards.17. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, operational risk & workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible
