Position: Pharmaceutical Production Pharmacist (Solid Dosage Forms)Exciting opportunity for an experienced Egyptian Pharmacist to join our growing team in Tripoli, Libya. If you’re looking to advance your career while making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you.Location: Tripoli, LibyaDepartment: Production / OperationsEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob PurposeOversee and manage the daily manufacturing operations of solid oral dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, and dry powders.Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local regulatory requirements.Optimize production efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.Production Management & SetupOversee the complete manufacturing process, including raw material dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, coating, and capsule filling.Assist with the installation, qualification, validation, and calibration of production equipment.Monitor production schedules and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.Support process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.Quality Assurance & GMP ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to cGMP standards throughout all manufacturing operations.Prepare, review, and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs).Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Work closely with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to investigate deviations, OOS results, and production-related issues.Maintain complete and accurate production documentation.Technical Expertise & InstrumentationTroubleshoot manufacturing and formulation issues, including tablet capping, sticking, hardness variations, and dissolution concerns.Collaborate with analytical laboratories utilizing HPLC and FTIR instrumentation.Ensure in-process materials meet quality specifications before advancing to subsequent production stages.Support equipment validation and process optimization initiatives.Team Leadership & SafetySupervise, train, and mentor production technicians and operators.Promote compliance with safety procedures, hygiene standards, and GMP requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharmaceutical Sciences.Master's Degree in Industrial Pharmacy or Pharmaceutics is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically within a Solid Dosage Forms facility.Experience supporting startup operations, facility expansions, equipment qualification, or validation projects is highly desirable.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of solid dosage manufacturing processes, including wet granulation, dry granulation, direct compression, and film coating.Understanding of cleanroom classifications, HVAC systems, and contamination control strategies.Thorough knowledge of international GMP standards, including WHO, EMA, or equivalent guidelines.Soft SkillsStrong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and documentation practices.Ability to perform effectively in a highly regulated environment and meet production timelines.</strong>LanguagesFluent in Arabic.WProficient in English, including pharmaceutical and technical terminology.If you meet the qualifications and are interested in joining an innovative pharmaceutical manufacturing operation in Libya, we would love to hear from you.
