The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, verify prescriptions, and provide clear counseling to customers on proper use, dosage, and potential side effects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, managing inventory levels for medicines and health-related products, and maintaining proper storage conditions. The role also involves advising customers on the selection and safe use of medical equipment, cosmetics, and wellness products, handling insurance or billing inquiries, and supporting a clean, organized, and secure pharmacy environment. The Pharmacist will collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and deliver consistent, patient-centered service.Qualifications Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription verification, and safe medication dispensing practices.Ability to provide clear patient counseling, including dosage instructions, side effect explanations, and medication adherence support.Competence in inventory management, including stock rotation, expiry monitoring, and ordering of medicines and medical supplies.Attention to detail in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with local pharmacy laws and regulations.Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with diverse customers and healthcare professionals.Basic proficiency with pharmacy management systems, point-of-sale tools, and insurance or billing processes.Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks safely.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and valid pharmacist license/registration as required by local regulatory authorities.Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred; experience with medical equipment and cosmetic product guidance is an advantage.
