Its mission centers on anticipating client needs and consistently exceeding customer expectations.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Piping Checker role based in Giza. The Piping Checker will review and verify piping layout drawings, isometrics, and 3D models to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes. Responsibilities include checking dimensions, line routing, support locations, material take-offs, and clash-free arrangements, as well as coordinating with piping designers and engineers to resolve discrepancies. The role involves ensuring constructability, safety, and maintainability of piping systems, and preparing clear comments, markups, and checklists for design revisions. The Piping Checker will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support design reviews, and contribute to quality control and continuous improvement of drafting and checking procedures.Qualifications Strong experience in piping checking for industrial, utilities, or water/wastewater projects, including review of layouts, isometrics, and support details.Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS/E3D, CADWorx, or similar) and ability to interpret P&IDs and general arrangement drawings.Solid understanding of relevant piping codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO) and their practical application in design verification.Ability to identify and resolve clashes, dimensional inconsistencies, and constructability issues, with attention to safety and maintenance access.Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with engineers, designers, and other disciplines in a project environment.Organized and detail-oriented approach, with ability to manage multiple drawings and packages under schedule constraints.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Previous experience with utilities, water supply, or sewage sector projects is an advantage; familiarity with QA/QC procedures is beneficial.Willingness to work on-site in Giza and collaborate closely with local and regional project teams.
