Planning Manager

Job Purpose:Lead the planning function to ensure accurate production schedules, material availability, and on-time delivery for all customer orders.Responsibilities: Prepare and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS).Plan materials (MRP) and coordinate closely with Procurement to avoid shortages or excess stock.Monitor factory capacity and align production plans with manpower and machinery.Review sales forecasts and translate them into production requirements.Track planning KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, and plan adherence.Lead and develop the planning team and ensure proper communication with Production, Sales, and Warehouse.Set priorities and milestones.Distribute work among team members and assign roles and responsibilities.Collect information required for planning.Provide planning-related advice to higher management.Qualifications, Education Requirements and Age: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 6 to 9 years of experience in planning (production and material), with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)Good knowledge of MPS, MRP, capacity planning, and production processes.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Strong Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
