Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for various projects, ensuring that materials and services are acquired promptly and cost-effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality of materials.Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capability.Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms.Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements.Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely project execution without excess or shortages.Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and procurement trends.Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards, and regulations.Assist in the resolution of procurement-related issues and disputes with vendors.Prepare and present procurement reports to management regarding budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Engineering ( mechanical , electric or related field ) .Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the construction sector.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Understanding of construction materials, services, and industry standards.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
