Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our marketplace platform. The ideal candidate will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution while working closely with developers, design, marketing, and operations.This role requires a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, user behavior, trust and safety mechanisms, digital product development, and growth strategies.Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy & VisionDefine and execute the product vision aligned with business objectives.Develop and maintain the product roadmap based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities.Identify growth opportunities and innovative features to enhance platform engagement and monetization.Analyze competitor platforms and emerging marketplace trends.Product DevelopmentTranslate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user experiences.Work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on impact and effort.Marketplace GrowthImprove buyer and seller acquisition, engagement, and retention.Optimize listing creation, search experience, user onboarding, and transaction journeys.Develop features that increase marketplace liquidity and transaction success rates.Monitor conversion funnels and identify optimization opportunities.Trust & SafetyDesign and improve user verification processes.Develop reputation and rating systems.Enhance fraud prevention mechanisms and moderation workflows.Implement features that build trust between buyers and sellers.Data & AnalyticsDefine and track key product KPIs.Analyze user behavior using analytics tools.Conduct A/B testing and experimentation.Generate actionable insights to improve platform performance.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, Sales, and Technology teams.Present product updates and recommendations to leadership.Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders.Qualifications:EducationBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Experience4+ years of Product Management experience.Experience managing digital platforms, marketplaces, e-commerce, or classified platforms.Proven experience launching and scaling customer-facing products.Experience working in Agile environments.Technical KnowledgeProduct lifecycle management.User experience and customer journey mapping.Product analytics and experimentation.API integrations and platform ecosystems.Mobile and web product development.Preferred ExperienceMarketplace platforms.Classified advertising platforms.Trust & Safety products.FinTech or payment integrations.Subscription and advertising monetization models.
