Beyond roasting, we emphasize quality across the entire coffee experience by assisting partners with coffee bar setups and barista training in proper coffee handling techniques. We are passionate about delivering exceptional coffee to every cup. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Production Coffee Roaster to join our team on-site in Cairo, Egypt. The Production Coffee Roaster will be responsible for handling day-to-day roasting operations, monitoring roast quality, and maintaining equipment to ensure consistent flavor profiles. You will collaborate with the roasting team, manage green bean inventory, and work alongside our certified baristas to continually elevate product excellence. Additional responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with quality control and training processes. Qualifications Proficiency in coffee roasting techniques and operating roasting machinesUnderstanding of green coffee profiles, origin characteristics, and quality assessmentStrong attention to detail with experience in quality assurance and consistencyAbility to maintain and troubleshoot coffee roasting equipmentKnowledge of safety standards and best practices in coffee productionExperience with inventory management and production workflowsExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a teamSCA Certification or equivalent industry experience is preferredFlexibility to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and adapt to the production schedule
