Production Planning Lead Specialist

As an innovation partner with distinctive development and systems expertise, we support our customers on the path to increasingly sustainable and connected mobility concepts from autonomous driving to alternative drives as well as charging systems.Job DescriptionDevelop and manage production plans to ensure customer demand is met on time while maintaining optimal finished goods inventory levels.Monitor customer demand and production performance, adjusting plans as needed to ensure product availability and minimize excess or obsolete stock.Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries by identifying potential supply risks early and coordinating alternative solutions when necessary.Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to secure material availability, prevent shortages, and support efficient dispatch and transportation planning.Maintain inventory accuracy and ERP data integrity for finished goods, ensuring reliable planning and reporting.Support product and technical changes by managing inventory and material transitions to avoid waste, obsolescence, and service disruptions.Analyze inventory and customer demand variances, manage excess stock reduction initiatives, support stock-taking activities, and prepare customer claims related to obsolete inventory or demand fluctuations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in EngineeringMinimum of 1-3 years of experience within Planning operations.Hands-on-Experience with Data Analysis tools is considered a strong advantage.Professional proficiency using English languageStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with high level of communication skillsExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with a results-oriented mindset.Additional InformationPeople of all genders are always meant equally; for linguistic simplification and better readability, only the masculine form is used in the text.LEONI processes your application data in an IT-system that is consistent across the company and uses Foreign Service providers.
