Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead our factory operations in the production of clear dental aligners. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Production & Operations ManagementOversee and manage daily production operations to ensure targets, timelines, and quality standards are consistently metSupervise the operation and performance of 3D printers, thermoforming, and milling machinesMonitor production output and implement corrective actions when neededOptimize production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and control costsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and support a team of technicians and production staffConduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackOrganize and deliver training programs on machine operation, maintenance, and safety protocolsFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementTechnical Oversight & TroubleshootingConduct fault analysis and lead troubleshooting efforts for technical disruptions and equipment failuresCollaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptimeSupport the development and implementation of software and process improvement solutionsEnsure all mechanical systems and production equipment are properly maintained and calibratedQuality & ComplianceMonitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, ISO standards, and company policies across the production areaEnsure all production activities align with FDA, ISO, and regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturingIdentify and escalate quality issues promptly and implement preventive measuresReporting & StrategyReport on key production KPIs, performance metrics, and operational challenges to senior managementContribute to the development and execution of production strategies aligned with company growth objectivesIdentify opportunities for process innovation and lead continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 7–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory roleHands-on experience with 3D printers, thermoforming machines, CNC equipment, and CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in process optimizationExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environmentProficient in English.Knowledge of ISO and FDA standards for medical device manufacturing is a strong advantageRequired CertificatesISO 13485 — Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices (essential for medical device manufacturing)ISO 9001: General Quality Management Systems Foundation quality standardISO 14971: Risk Management for Medical Devices: Critical for aligner production safetyISO 15223: Symbols for Medical Devices Labelling and Packaging ComplianceOSHA Safety Certification — Occupational Health & Safety complianceFirst Aid / CPR Certification — Standard requirement for factory floor supervisorsPreferred / Strong Advantage CertificatesSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt — Process optimisation and waste reductionLean Manufacturing Certification — Efficiency and continuous improvementFDA 21 CFR Part 820 Compliance Training — US medical device regulatory requirementsISO 14001 — Environmental Management SystemsPMP — Project Management Professional — For managing production projects and timelinesAutoCAD / SolidWorks Certification — CAD software proficiencyCNC Programming Certification — Hands-on machine operation and programming
