The opportunityWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Leader to join our team. This role You will be responsible for leading production team in all production processes and operations to ensure best quality, highest efficiency, productivity, shortest time delivery of the product to the customer with lowest cost.How You’ll Make An ImpactDrawing up production schedule and allocating required resources to fulfill the required production plan on time.Creating, defining and updating standard operating procedures (SOP) for manufacturing processes that define all steps of the manufacturing, tooling, equipment and material used, critical check points and quality requirements.Developing and implementing in station process control systems, analyzing production processes, quality level, and other operational reports to measure production process performance and detect production problems and constraints.Overseeing production plan execution performance and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the overall situation and production progress.Preparing and reporting production KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis.Identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities and projects, implementing lean manufacturing principles through production line. Preparing and conducting technical on job training sessions and quality school topics.Preparing Technical reports and service cost calculations for service and maintenance orders.Reviewing and developing people’s performance by identifying and strengthening weaknesses and organize necessary interventions for improvement.Assisting factory maintenance team to establish routine maintenance and TPM procedures for factory machines and equipment and determine machines efficiency.Ensuring that the area of responsibilities is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.Complying with local and global standards, rules, policies, and procedures related to operation, quality and HSE. The area of responsibilities is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundA bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the power products manufacturing field.Experience in the distribution transformers manufacturing field is preferred.Strong knowledge of production processes, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with systems & methodologies used in manufacturing include LEAN Six Sigma and CI tools (such as problem-solving tools, 5S, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, etc.).Solid knowledge in understanding technical design/drawings.Proven problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.Experience of working in a multi-national and matrix environment.Highly organized and focused on meeting goals and objectives.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
