By supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises, GGJAP aims to catalyze green growth and create opportunities for young women and youth.For more information, please visit www.flat6labs.comAbout The RoleFlat6Labs is looking for a Program Officer to join our team on the Green Growth & Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Egypt. As a professional, you will be responsible for supporting SMEs in their day-to-day activities as well as supporting the program team in organizing cycle processes, documentation, and events. This role would suit a highly proactive, technology-savvy, and organized individual who is passionate about creating impact.Also, as a Program Officer, you will be required to oversee the process and the operations of the program, design and implement an effective business strategy to position the program as a high-quality leading ecosystem development program locally and internationally, help build relationships, and establish partnerships with local and international partners.Main Responsibilities:Marketing & Outreach:Collaborate with the UNDP team to disseminate calls for applicationsUtilize social media to share the UNDP team's posts about the program updateDisseminate calls for applications within the partner network and previous beneficiariesOrganize informational sessions to present the programHeadhunt potential SMEs that could benefit from the programSupport the Program Manager on the outreach strategy in line with UNDP branding guidelinesAmong othersAccelerator Implementation:Plan and execute pre-accelerator and accelerator phases with the Program Lead's supportScout SMEs to hire as part of the coming cohorts Identify potential experts, mentors, and potential financial institutions based on the needs assessment resultsManage virtual & physical workshops and events as part of the accelerator programAdvise selected SMEs on their business development needsRun a needs assessment for the selected SMEs and prepare all the documents requestedAnalyze the needs assessment results and align with the Team leader on the action plan for each SMESupport SMEs during the program and ensure they respond to all queries or challenges they are facingEnsure a seamless onboarding/offboarding journey for all SMEsSupport the business development affairs that might open doors to opportunities for SMEs Among othersReporting:Collect the necessary data and information requested by the donor from the accelerated SMEsWork on the needed reports for office hours and the needs assessment to submit to the donorFollow up with the engaged mentors on the reports for each session Support in the preparation of the accelerator reportAmong othersCommunication:Attend weekly meetings with the UNDP country office and F6L regional teamSupport program communication on social media channelsEnsure timely responses to queries or challenges from entrepreneursActively promote internally and externally the GGJAP to key stakeholdersAmong othersRequirementsA bachelor's degree in business administration & management, or any other related fieldAt least 3-5 years of experience in business advisory, finance, and investment or management consulting projectsAt least 2 years of facilitation experience (conducting workshops and meetings with company leadership)A good knowledge of the green business environment and processes in Egypt (Optional)Previous experience in SMEs/ startup accelerator programsFluency in English and Arabic is required.
