Provide overall strategic direction and executive accountability for all PMC and Owner's Engineer services across the solar PV and BESS program.Serve as CSI's primary interface with the Client, Lenders, SPV representatives, Government authorities, and key stakeholders.Define and enforce the program governance framework, reporting cadence, and KPI structure in alignment with the contract.Lead contract negotiations, manage scope changes, and ensure the commercial performance and profitability of the engagement.Oversee the mobilization strategy, team structure, and resource deployment for both onsite and offsite teams.Review and approve major technical deliverables, engineering audit reports, and QA/QC submissions.Monitor program schedule and cost against baselines, directing corrective action where deviations arise.Manage senior-level relationships with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and sub-consultants.Ensure HSE policies and requirements are implemented and enforced across all project sites.Provide regular program performance reports to CSI executive management.Travel between Zambia project sites and Cairo HQ as required to maintain oversight and stakeholder engagement. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 15 years of engineering and project management experience, including at least 8 years in a Director-level role.Demonstrated experience managing utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS programs (100 MW+).Proven background in PMC or Owner's Engineer roles on international projects.PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar contracts.Excellent English communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa or other emerging markets is a significant advantage.
