Project Manager - Construction

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion. The candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Key Responsibilities• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.• Conduct regular site meetings and prepare progress reports.• Control project costs and manage variations and claims.• Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) throughout the project lifecycle.• Supervise and mentor project team members. Qualifications & Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts (FIDIC preferred), and project management principles.• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).• PMP certification is a plus.⸻Key Skills• Leadership & Team Management• Time and Cost Control• Risk Management• Contract Administration• Problem-Solving & Decision Making• Communication & Stakeholder Management⸻Working Conditions• Primarily site-based with office coordination.• May require extended working hours depending on project needs.⸻Reporting To:Project Director / Construction Manager
