Position OverviewThe Project Manager Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and closing engineering projects across design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and operational phases. The role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors.---Key Responsibilities- Project Planning — Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets. - Technical Coordination — Lead engineering teams, review designs, ensure compliance with standards. - Procurement Management — Prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendors, coordinate equipment delivery. - Construction Supervision — Oversee site activities, ensure quality, safety, and adherence to engineering drawings. - Commissioning & Startup — Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of systems to operations. - Risk & Safety Management — Conduct HAZOP/HIRA, enforce HSE compliance, manage mitigation plans. - Stakeholder Communication — Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities. - Budget & Cost Control — Monitor costs, approve variations, ensure financial discipline. - Documentation & Reporting — Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and handover packages. - Team Leadership — Motivate teams, resolve conflicts, ensure productivity and alignment.---Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering - 5–10 years experience in engineering project management - Strong knowledge of EPC workflows, engineering design, and construction practices - Familiarity with international standards (NFPA, ISO, ASME, API, etc.) - Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills - PMP certification is an advantage---Preferred Experience- Managing industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects - Working with multidisciplinary engineering teams - Experience with procurement, vendor evaluation, and technical negotiations - Knowledge of commissioning, startup, and operational readiness - Experience with Egyptian regulatory bodies (GASCO, EGAS, GASREG, etc.)---Key Competencies- Leadership and team motivation - Technical decision‑making - Risk management - Client relationship management - Time management - Quality assurance
