Menasco Misr serves diverse project types—such as high-rise, commercial, residential, and industrial—and provides turnkey solutions to prominent clients locally and internationally.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Specialist role based in El 'Alamein. The Purchase Specialist will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating prices and terms to support ongoing electromechanical projects. Responsibilities include preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and coordinating closely with project, engineering, and warehouse teams to align procurement with project schedules. The role involves tracking order status, resolving delivery or quality issues with vendors, and maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation. The Purchase Specialist will also analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and contribute to optimizing procurement costs and processes while upholding company quality and compliance standards.QualificationsStrong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchasing best practices to handle day-to-day procurement activities efficiently.Experience in purchase management and purchase orders, including vendor coordination, order follow-up, and documentation control.Purchasing experience in construction, MEP, or electromechanical contracting, preferably within the Middle East or North Africa region.Solid analytical skills to compare quotations, evaluate total cost of ownership, and support data-driven sourcing decisions.Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) for tracking and reporting.Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Working knowledge of relevant contracts, Incoterms, and basic commercial terms; understanding of local procurement regulations is an advantage.Previous experience in on-site roles and willingness to be based in El 'Alamein.
