We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Representative with 2–4 years of experience in construction procurement, preferably within infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services required for project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for infrastructure projects.Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, delivery schedules, and compliance with project specifications.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with vendors and suppliers.Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procurement procedures.Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.Track order status and expedite deliveries to avoid project delays.Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and procurement regulations.Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.Assist in preparing procurement reports and cost analyses. EducationBachelor's degree .Experience2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the construction industry.Experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, railways, water networks, or civil works is highly preferred.
