QA / Software Test Engineer (AI-Augmented Testing)

We're looking for a Software Test Engineer with around 2 years of experience who combines solid testing fundamentals with curiosity about using AI to make testing faster and more reliable. You'll help ensure the quality of our products by designing and running tests, building automation, and applying AI tools to generate tests, analyze failures, and cut down on manual effort. This is a great fit for someone early in their QA career who wants to grow while working with modern, AI-assisted testing practices. What You'll Do- Write and maintain test cases and automated tests across web, API, and/or mobile.- Use AI-assisted tools to help generate test cases, create test data, and expand coverage from user stories or requirements.- Build and maintain automated tests (UI, API, regression) and help keep them running in CI/CD pipelines.- Use AI to speed up failure triage — grouping similar failures and flagging flaky tests.- Work with self-healing automation and AI-driven locators to reduce test maintenance.- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.- Review AI-generated tests and output critically — checking correctness and removing noise rather than trusting it blindly.- Track, document, and clearly report bugs, and work with developers to get them resolved.- Learn and experiment with new AI testing tools, and share what works with the team.  - Around 2 years (roughly 1–3) of experience in software testing or QA.- Good understanding of testing fundamentals: test case design, regression, the test pyramid, and the bug life cycle.- Experience writing automated tests with a framework such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.- Basic-to-intermediate scripting ability in at least one language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#).- Some hands-on experience using AI tools in a development or testing workflow (e.g., LLM-based assistants or AI test generators) — or clear enthusiasm to learn.- Experience testing APIs (REST) with a tool like Postman.- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic CI/CD concepts.- Attention to detail and the judgment to question results — including AI output that looks wrong.- Clear written and verbal communication.Nice to Have- Exposure to AI-powered or self-healing testing platforms.- Some prompt engineering experience for generating tests, test data, or documentation.- Basic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6) or security testing.- Curiosity about testing AI/ML features (validating model outputs, prompt regression, hallucination or safety checks).- Familiarity with Docker or cloud test environments.- ISTQB Foundation (or similar) certification.How We Use AI in Testing (so you know what to expect)- *Test generation:* turning requirements and code into draft test cases and data.- *Maintenance:* self-healing locators and AI suggestions to cut down on broken tests.- *Analysis:* automatic failure grouping, flaky-test detection, and prioritizing what to fix first.- *Productivity:* AI assistants for writing scripts, documentation, and bug reports — always with human review.We treat AI as a helper, not a replacement for engineering judgment.
