Compliance & Quality assurance ManagerRole at a Glance Location : Cairo/Al Agouza – with visits to factories and sites in Delta region Industry : Farming, Essential Oils- aromatic extracts industry Reports To : Managing Partner Employment Type : Full-Time · Executive Level About Our ClientOur client is a heritage-driven Egyptian group and a leading producer of natural essential oils and aromatic extracts serving international fragrance, flavor and food companies across Europe, North America and the Gulf. We are entering a major institutional transformation and building a dedicated Compliance, Sustainability & CSR Department to support global growth and certifications.Role Summary We are looking for a senior Compliance & Sustainability leader to build and lead a new function that owns certifications, regulatory affairs, internal audit, and sustainability / Fair Trade programs for the group. You will design and implement policies, procedures and QMS, ensure full readiness for audits, and turn our Fair for Life and sustainability commitments into a real commercial advantageKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the roadmap for international certifications (e.g. FSSC 22000, ISO 9001/22000, Organic, IFRA, Fair for Life, Halal) from gap analysis to renewal.Lead regulatory compliance with NFSA, EOS, REACH, FDA and other export‑market requirements.Build and run Fair for Life / Fair Trade frameworks with contracted farmers (contracts, pricing fairness, community projects, impact reporting).Design and supervise the internal audit program, CAPA closure, SOP lifecycle and document control across all sites.Coordinate ESG / sustainability reporting (water, energy, emissions, community impact) and support customer sustainability requests.Lead and develop a small team covering sustainability, internal audit and documentation.Represent the company with certification bodies, regulators and key international clients on compliance and ESG topics.What We're Looking ForMust-Haves10+ years’ experience in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance or Sustainability in food, essential oils, ingredients or related manufacturing.At least 5 years in a leadership role managing quality/compliance systems and external audits.Hands‑on experience managing FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000 / ISO 9001 certifications.Experience designing or upgrading policies, procedures and QMS (SOPs, CAPA, internal audits, document control).Strong knowledge of export regulatory requirements (e.g. NFSA, EOS, REACH, FDA or similar).Fluent Arabic and very good English, with strong stakeholder and negotiation skills.Nice-to-HavesExperience with Fair for Life / Fair Trade / Rainforest Alliance / Organic certifications.Background in essential oils, flavors, fragrances or agricultural supply chains.Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001/22000 or similar).Exposure to ESG / sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB).Experience in family‑owned businesses undergoing institutional transformation.What We OfferA high‑impact leadership role to build a department from scratch, not just maintain an existing system.Direct exposure to international auditors, regulators and global clients.The opportunity to shape the sustainability and CSR agenda for farmers, factories and communities.📩 Interested candidates may apply here or send their CVs to:bleaders.eg@gmail.com and mention Compliance Manager
