Join us to deliver this landmark project.We are looking for you as early as possible as Railway Assurance Engineer for DB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt for the primary location Cairo, Egypt.The role:The Railway Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all railway operations, projects, and infrastructure comply with applicable railway safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role developing and implementing assurance frameworks, conducting audits, and managing risk involves developing and implementing assurance frameworks, conducting audits, and managing risk involves developing and implementing assurance frameworks, conducting audits, and managing risk by developing and implementing assurance frameworks, conducting audits, and managing risk involves the development and implementation of assurance frameworks, audits, and risk management processes to ensure safe, reliable, and legally compliant railway services. the development and implementation of assurance frameworks, audits, and risk management processes to maintain safe, reliable, and legally compliant railway services.Responsibilities: Develop, together with other disciplines, the Systems Assurance Management, Rail Safety Plan;Develop, monitor and act on deviations, together with SOAC and Maintenance Teams, RAMS Targets for the project.Be the point of contact on managing the performance of railway assets with SOAC.Develop a Safety Case, RAMS Analysis, Risk Assessments and Hazard Log.Keep the Project Hazard Log Updated and manage transferred risks from infrastructure and rolling stock providers.Implement the necessary controls of the regulations EN 50126, 50128 and 50129.Work on RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) targets: performance metrics / key performance indicators and approach to target setting.Responsible for Identifying and mitigating risks to people and assets.Coordinate independent safety assessments (ISA) and interface with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders to demonstrate compliance and obtain necessary approvals.Maintain comprehensive assurance records, produce progress reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of the overall Assurance Management System.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / MBA in a relevant field (such as Civil, Mechanical or Electric EngineeringRAMS or EN 50126, 50128 and 50129 training is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in safety inspection or related field.Proven knowledge of all aspects of Compliance.Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and relevant IT systems, leveraging technology for data analysis and reporting.Fluent in written and spoken English, enabling effective communication.Fluent in Arabic, facilitating seamless communication with Arabic-speaking individualsGeneral Information:DB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
