Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and the roadmap to IATF 16949 certification by 2026.Plan and drive all activities required for IATF 16949 readiness, including gap analysis, process mapping, documentation, and training.Ensure compliance with established procedures, work instructions, and inspection records.Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring timely closure of non-conformities and continuous improvement of processes.Collaborate with key suppliers (both internal and external) to support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/ production build eventsSupervise inspection and testing activities for all manufacturing stages: chassis reception, body fabrication, painting, assembly, and final inspection.Develop and enforce inspection standards and quality checkpoints for bus and coach body building.Approve or reject materials, components, and finished vehicles that do not meet specifications.Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) based on production feedback and warranty claims.Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their quality performance and adherence to specifications.Conduct supplier audits and collaborate on quality improvements for key parts such as body panels, paint systems, electricals, and interiors.Implement supplier development initiatives to align supplier quality systems with IATF requirements.Ensure compliance with all relevant standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Fuso commercial vehicles standards, Volvo BBI and OEM requirements).Coordinate with certifying agencies, auditors, and Volvo technical representatives on quality and compliance matters.Maintain documentation and traceability to meet audit and customer requirementsLead, mentor, and develop the Quality team to achieve departmental and certification goals.Provide regular training and awareness programs on quality standards and IATF requirements across departments.Foster a company-wide culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred)Required Industry Experience: Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the automotive or heavy vehicle manufacturing sector (bus/truck body building preferred).Technological Requirements:Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Solid worksAutoCADLanguage Requirements: Fluent in English, spoken and written
